I have yet to use film, but my first DV effort was the one I am just finishing. I made about a dozen shorts with a large VHS cam I semi-stole from a local college. Shhh

Hey there.

Allot of us had to, and were quite happy to use VHS, C-VHS, 8M, Hi8 for a long time before all this new fangled digital stuff came about. I for one would rather be shooting lots of movies on VHS and editing via the cam and my video player, than sitting around in my bedroom moaning about not having a Cannon XL1 and the latest pc to edit on.

It will be a 13 year old kid on a 10 year old HI8 camera that will be making the better movies than them day dreaming fucks.
